We’ll work with your team to determine the best approach. Typically files are delivered in flat file format while Recent Home Sales are provided via a web service call.
If your team can use them, OnBoard can provide polygons – boundary files – for all ZoneOn neighborhoods. These polygons can be used to draw the shapes of distinct neighborhoods on a map.
What are Polygons?
If you drew a border of a single neighborhood on a map, that shape would represent a neighborhood polygon. If you were to draw the border for every neighborhood in a marketplace, not only would your map be able to pull listings, recent home sales, nearby schools and businesses into a neighborhood context, it would also be able to show that particular neighborhood and its relationship to others in your marketplace.
OnBoard polygons allow end users to visualize the neighborhood. They are designed to help you build custom search, content and display solutions that integrate your own content assets with any mapping solution. Our polygons come with a developer’s toolkit including all the resources your team needs to easily understand, import and begin providing intuitive interfaces to your customers.
